Rooibos Infused Sugar
This tea infused sugar couldn't be easier to make and will add something special to your bakes. Choose your favourite tea and sugar combo and use it instead of your ordinary sweetener.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cut open your desired number of Tick Tock teabags to access the tea leaves inside.
Blend the tea in a blender until it becomes a fine powder (30 seconds-1 minute).
Mix with 20 parts sugar until well combined and keep in an airtight container. Use within the best before date on the tea.
- 1 part Tick Tock Tea of your choice - we used Vanilla Rooibos for the Muscovado sugar, Original Rooibos for the caster sugar and Earl Grey Rooibos for the icing sugar
- 20 part sugar of your choice - we used Muscovado, caster and icing sugar for three different types of infused sugar
